Eccentric townsfolk have taken a century-old Victorian town and made it a place they can call home. Under the subdued sky of Midnight Hollow, it's the residents who really shine. Did you know that there are 114 exclusive new items in this world! Oh my goodness!įind your light in the dark splendor of Midnight HollowĮxplore a landscape where all you're really required to be is yourself. And I captured the (small) images from all the objects and clothing as well. Yay I finally managed to access the Midnight Hollow page, thanks to the in-game link ( Avenida Sims reminded me of that, thank you!) So I collected all the screenies and info here. Here's hoping you're next! - I meant being my new neighbor not the whole murder thing FYI. Let them have their "starlights" and "shores," I'll take my century-old victorian mansion, eerie landscape and interesting neightbors every time. I moved here to get away from the "normal" life to find a life that's normal for me. "All of her husbands die mysteriously and suddenly" or "I think her son was fathered by the grim reaper" or "I'm pretty sure she's a murderer".

Life is hard and people will always have something to say about you. Then come to Midnight Hollow where it's good to be one of a kind! Sick of those smiling neighbors telling you to enjoy the "sunset" in the "valley?" Sick of feeling bad that there's no one around like you? Blergh.Curious about the backstory of Midnight Hollow? Well another Sim from The Sims 2 has returned. Too dark, mountains everywhere and comes with that worthless Savvy Seller collection to boot. The theme doesn't fit in terribly well with TS3 though, so personally I find it too jarring to play. So it's a love it or hate it sort of world depending on whether you enjoy that sort of thing.ĭragon Valley is possibly the prettiest world. I like Lunar Lakes, but it's entirely focused around the "alien world colony" theme. Roaring Heights is okay too (ignoring the fact that its theme is all over the place) but you need to put some work in since some of the default lots are just plain bizarre. Was never too keen on any of them really. The only downside is that it doesn't have a beach, or anywhere where a beach could realistically be placed.Įxcluding that, um, I'm not sure. It's one of the better looking worlds with Seasons too. The layout is perfect, nice variety of areas and subdivisions and there's plenty of room for expansion. Riverview is the best world, possibly even greater than all of the base game and EP worlds too. But as I said, don't get it if you don't want to spend a lot of your time in CASt.

Ok, judging from the amount I wrote on just one town I guess my recommendation would be Midnight Hollow. Roaring Height is simply beautiful and feels like a mixture between 1940s Hollywood movies and Bioshock's Rapture before the downfall. It's also a town that can easily be turned into a fim noir environment and rid it of all that techno goth stuff.ĭragon Valley is very mellow, with earthy, humid tones and I ususally play it when I need a lot of atmosphere. You can really play with colours a lot for spectacular effects. I love Midnight Hollow especially for that. The light is actually very bright and cold, so every colour that is not toned down and darkened will stick out like a neon t-shirt in black light. But you really have to enjoy CASt if you play Midnight Hollow, because you'll need it.

I found the Savvy Seller items pointless and have removed them all from my MH game. Lucky Palms is the easiest if you want to expand, because of the sheer amount of empty lots and could become a second Starlight Shores or Bridgeport. Tough choice, I like all three of them very much and would add Roaring Heights, too.
